Jumia Travel is a hotel/flights booking website that provides travellers with the perfect place/flight they need at the best price from more than 25,000 hotels in Africa and more than 200,000 hotels around the world
Main Responsibility
Signing up new prospects (SMEs, multinationals, public organisations, etc.)Following up on existing partnerships and supporting the growth of sales via this channelMaking sure all your clients’ bookings are carried out thoroughlyPresenting Jumia Travel services in person or on the phone to the relevant decision makersNegotiating terms and conditions of partnershipManaging sales accounts by analyzing needs, creating strategies, and measuring client and member responses.Securing bid opportunities through direct contact, e-mail and telephoneProspecting organisations by soliciting favorable contacts with potential new accountsRetaining existing accounts by researching and resolving customer problemsConducting follow-up calls to identify future business needs. Solicit feedback, identify issues and recommend enhancements to products or servicesEnsuring client and member satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationshipsHelping account receivable to collect when neededDeveloping and supporting sales presentations and eventsEmbedding a sales management cultureCreating trust with all partnersReporting prospection on a tracking software
Required Skills and Qualification
At least 1-2 years experience selling to corporate customersMust have strong sales or business development backgroundEnthusiastic, driven and confident – Ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the company’s mission, product and business valueProven ability to learn new technology quickly, adapt to changing needs and possess strong analytical skillsAbility to quickly build productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environmentPerfect spoken and written English is a mustNetwork and contacts in the hospitality industry are an added advantage
